Catfish

Catfish is a 2010 American documentary film, directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, involving a young man being filmed by his brother and friend as he builds a romantic relationship with a young woman on the social networking website Facebook.[1] {via here}

This weekend I got sucked into the Catfish doc on MTV.  When the doc first came out it seemed like it was at the height of the FB craze and I didn't want anything to do with it.  Now I can't believe I waited so long to see it.  The end will blow your mind on how far people will go to be someone else.

MTV now as a TV show with the same title.  We recorded two episodes this weekend and I sat their with my jaw dropped the whole time.  How can people be so naive?!  Being someone who chooses to put my life out there through blogging I realized how easily someone could become me?  {not that I am that cool, but it could happen}  I would highly recommend checking this new show out.  Mondays at 11 PM.

I like that show too - well I don't know if "like" is the right word. I have seen both episodes and have cried both times for the poor people who fell for it :(
