Current Obsessions

It is no secret that when I become obsessed with something I want everyone to know.  This drives Marco nuts because I don't shut up about it for hours, days or weeks.
I think there will be a lot of women doing this!

The Fifty Shades series...let me tell you friends, it is better the second time around. Maybe one day I will shut up about this book, maybe.

Friday's Letters

Dear Marco, Your time will come.  We have to continue to believe.  You have talent, it is just a matter of time before we are living the life we have always dream of.  Dear Melissa, Good luck on your 13.1 tomorrow!  Can't wait to celebrate next weekend in Vegas!  Dear Lauren, Thank the Lord we finished the Shades series around the same time and gchat:)  I need to discuss this with someone! lol  Dear Landlord,  No need for the freak out last week when I asked if our building was dog friendly.  You looked at me like I just told you I burned the place down.  Dear Fifty, You are truly a extremely f'ed up version of the notebook, but I loved reading every minute.  Dear E L James, Please, please, please tell me the tease at the end of the third book will be your next book.  Please.  Dear Vacation, I am ready for you!

I am ridiculous

Source: bit.ly via Faviola on Pinterest

I know I sound ridiculous when I say this, but the Fifty Series has taken over my life, for real. To say that I am obsessed with these books is a total understatement.  I finished book two in 24 hours and go to bed super early so I can read for hours.  I have no clue what I will do once the series is over, I guess just start over again.  Christian Grey is my fictional boyfriend.  He will be yours too once you read the books.

I signed up for Google Alerts so I know immediately when they cast the movie.  {Who's a dork? This girl!}  I have heard so many mixed rumors for Ana's character.  Let's just say as much as I LOVE these characters if Kristin Stewart or Dakota Fanning are cast I WILL NOT see this movie.  You have to stand for something right?

Obsessed

I have become obsessed with Fifty Shades of Grey.  I ignored my husband as much as I could this weekend so I could read, read, read!  I finished book one today at lunch and I am counting down the hours until I can start book two.

As you might have heard about 3 weeks ago there was a bidding war for the rights.  Hollywood I have a couple suggestions for you...

1. Keep true to the book.  If this movie is PG-13 I am going to be pissed. Don't be afraid of a NC-17 rating.  This movie deals with very adult issues.  Something young teens shouldn't be exposed to.

2. If you are looking for casting suggestions here are my picks {if you want to cast me, I will make myself available}

Ana Steel

Christian Grey
I mean, let's be honest.  He fits the part perfectly.

I am dying to know who you would cast in Fifty Shades of Grey?

Friday's Letters

Dear Marco, You had me cracking up this week over the stories you were telling.  I could sit and listen to you for hours.  The voices were awesome too.  Dear LA, You beat me up this week for no apparent weekend.  You've won this battle, but I will win the war.  Dear Christian Grey, Whoa baby!  You kept me up way past my bedtime last night.  I am only on Chapter 9 of the first book, I can't even fathom what comes next.  Dear Hunger Games DP & Director, Your shot selection was AWFUL!  Use a steady-cam; that much hand held is distracting.  Also for the people that haven't read the book {i.e. my husband}, more establishing shots would have been nice.  I was disappointed!   Dear SNL, You nailed this skit last week.  I was howling watching it.  I guess we Angelinos are so predictable.

Sonoma Day 2 & 3

Our second day in Sonoma might have been my favorite.  We woke up bright and early and headed for breakfast.  On our way we saw this beautiful vineyard and cows.  We had to stop for a mini photo shoot.  I have come to terms that I am not the best model, dreams crushed.  This photo shoot set the tone for the day. Lots of wine and pictures, two of my favorite things!

At this moment I felt like I was in heaven

Wine! Wine! Wine!

Our husbands favorite blonds

Just hanging out enjoying life

At our second to last winery, can you tell it was kicking in?

Hanging out in the Coppola vineyards

All weekend long I wanted this picture
Free!

Loved looking at all the memorabilia at the winery.  If you ever go to Sonoma add this to your must see list!  One thing M has in common with FFC is they have both won the Director's Guild of America award for best director {M, the student version of course}

Day 3 was the Dry Creek Valley region.  Most of the winery's were off of one road so it was really easy to navigate.  Honestly, by day three M & I were a little tired of wine.  He was completely over it.  I don't think our friends could ever get tired of it;)  This was our most relaxed day which was perfect because some of the winery's were absolutely the perfect place to chill.

Loved the signs everywhere

Hanging out at the Bella Caves

I think it was at this moment I told Marco we should move.  I say this every time we travel anywhere.

Love them!

Cases of wine, yes please!

Last stop, Korbel!  It was a perfect way to end the trip.
Jim and Lauren, I would say let's do it again next year, but I think you have to be over 21 to buy a ticket.  I can't wait to meet him or her this Christmas.  Congratulations!

What I'm Loving

I'm LOVING M's and my nightly walks around our neighborhood.  It is so nice to decompress about our day and enjoy the weather.

I'm LOVING my car:)

I'm LOVING mint jeans.  I must have a pair ASAP.
{via}

I'm LOVING the potential of a new apartment.  It seems like every few weeks we find a place, but for whatever reason it doesn't work out.  Ugh...so annoying.  I can't wait until we can buy a house.  That day will be the best day of our lives, I am sure of it.

I'm LOVING it seems like every time I log on to good ole FB someone is announcing they're expecting.  Obviously I am happy for them, it is just weird to me.  I still see myself as that early/mid-twenty something so not ready for a family.

I'm LOVING this video M put on my wall last week.  Now I know the real reason he says we will start a family when we are 40.  This is exactly how I was when I was little...such a brat {hence the nickname Britt the Brat}

I'm LOVING these items from Pinterest this week!

Sonoma Day I

Remember about 2 months ago when I couldn't shut up about going to Sonoma with our best friends from Georgia and I never posted the pictures?  Well now is the time.  Both of us took 1000+ pictures from the 4 days we were there.  Needless to say the scenery was unreal, the company was amazing and the wine was pretty good too!
First picture of the trip with a blown-out SF in the background

Lauren and I posing with the bridge

Jim & I at winery #3
It was in a warehouse, but was pretty awesome, fabulous wines!

The cheese was amazing too

Friends for 15+ years
I was luck enough to meet them both on the same day the summer of my sophomore year in HS.  I seriously thought Jim was crazy-always the life of the party!

Random Barns on the side of the road make for great pictures

L and I being huge dorks.  Does that bridge look familiar to any Bachelor fans?
Yep, Ben took Courtney here on their first date.  Our cabin was within walking distance so we HAD to:)
On day one I think we did 6 winery's total.  L should be a professional travel person.  We told her what we must do and she could plan the rest.  It was a whirlwind trip, but so much fun!

Days 2 & 3 coming up on Thursday
