My first semester of college I took World Religion. I walk in and saw a familiar face from HS, but didn't personally know her. There was an empty seat next to her, I sat and we started chatting. Linds graduated a year before me, went off to college in Colorado, hated it, moved back and attended JC for a year. We became instant friends. We spent all our free time together, worked out, waited tables, went on random road trips, indulged in margaritas frequently, we were inseparable Looking back now we both realized how happy we were. We didn't have a care in the world.
She is in town for work this week and last night we were able to grab dinner. We spent the night laughing, catching up on life, her wedding, her new hubby {I was the matchmaker kind of, sort of}, gossiping and just having a great time. Even though we don't talk as often and rarely see each other I feel so lucky that she is apart of my life.
Linds and I at dinner. I wish it wasn't so dark:(

What a fun way to spend the night, catching up with girlfriends is the best :)
aw so fun to reconnect with a good, old friend! :) Love this! And um... as someone who has a TON of loans (thank you, law school.. ugh), I am definitely jealous of your junior college stuff! That was super smart of you, girl! Saved yourself a lot of worry later! :) Oh and THANK YOU for the rec on the denim shirt b/c... I'm going to the outlet mall this weekend for girls weekend and I am SO hoping the jcrew outlet has one! Crossing fingers!
