Rehearsal Dinner: Wedding Week

Our Rehearsal Dinner was beyond amazing.  I think we ended up having 60 or so people.  My MIL rented out M’s aunts neighborhood clubhouse and decorated.  It was beautiful.  She completely out did her self with candles and white drapes everywhere.  Our Rehearsal Dinner was extremely budget friendly.   Flowers & alcohol from Costco, catering by a co-workers side business, my MIL did have to splurge on linens.  Everything else was done on a shoe string budget, but you would have never known.

My mom and I with my God Mothers!  We were all crying because we have been looking forward to this day for a long time.

The beautiful decor

My amazing MIL and SIL! They did so much to make this a special day for us.

The two things I loved about our Rehearsal Dinner was I received my SugarBoo frame.  My neighbor at the time, her daughter worked for the company.  She came over a couple days prior to the wedding with a sweet card.  I asked her how her daughter was doing and she told me about working for Sugarboo and how she hated the signs.  I told her about the one I fell in love with about 5 years prior in Destin.  The next day she came over to my parents and gave me the exact sign had wanted forever.  They gave it to me that night and I burst into tears of happiness.  I will be forever grateful.

The second thing was the kind words spoken to us that night.  After dinner whoever wanted to give us a toast were more than welcome too.  It truly made the night special.

Tips
*The rehearsal dinner doesn't have to be a mini-wedding.  Sometimes it is hard to step back and look at this realistically because of all the emotion
*It doesn't have to be perfect!
*I would recommend hiring a friend to take pictures.  We didn't hire anyone therefore we have very few pictures of the evening.

Hey Britt...found you through the link up. Your decor looked great with all the white linens! And I couldn't agree more with your tips...I think some people make the rehearsal dinner too big of a production, and it doesn't have to be that way! That's what the wedding day is for!

I think it looks so beautiful, and I love your dress. I think that frame is perfect, too!

We didn't have an elegant rehearsal dinner either - which is what I wanted! Yours looks greats - love the dress! :)
