Can you believe January is over? Well almost. This month flew by and if it is any indication of what is entail for the rest of the year then wow.
Friday night we went to Cirque at the Staples Center . It was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and would recommend it to anyone. One tip would be to get seats where you can see the whole show head on. We were off to the side so we didn’t get the whole effect. Overall it was a fun way to spend our Friday evening.
Saturday we lounged around most of the day before hitting the gym. Later that night we watched Moneyball {loved it!} and If A Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front {also loved it!}
Sunday the weather was beautiful so we walked everywhere and enjoyed the warm weather. We watched 50/50 and enjoyed it. JGL did an amazing job as a cancer patient. I am kind of surprised he isn’t nominated for an Oscar. I finished up some projects around the house and cleaned.
For dinner we met up with Ashley and her hubby, Jonathan, to celebrate her birthday! We went to 800 Degrees in Westwood and it was out of this world good. It is basically like a Chipolte for pizza. If you live around the area I highly, highly recommend it. The night wouldn’t have been complete without a stop by Diddy Riese. These two are a deadly combination and might be my favorite thing. Not good for the waste-line.
Simple menu
Our pizzas and about 30 fresh toppings
Margarita style with mushrooms & carmalized onions
Waiting for the delishiousness!
This week will be spent at the gym, Zumba class, picture frame shopping at Goodwill for an upcoming project and trying a couple new recipes i.e. veal.
