Praise You

Do you remember this song?
This morning on my way to work it came on and I started rocking out.
It immediately made me smile.
What songs do you love that no matter where you are or what you are doing they put a smile on your face?

Enjoy the little Thursday pick me up.  It is almost the weekend kids:)
{Side note: This looks like it was filmed in Westwood right by one of my favorite places, Diddy Riese!}

Mission

Last night I had a ton of energy and am pretty bored with our apartment so I decided to organize.  Thrilling, I know.  During my organization spree I found 50+ mixed CDs that I made from 2000 to 2006.  You can only imagine what gems are on there.

I am on the hunt for one song in particular, it is my favorite workout song ever and you can't buy it on iTunes or amazon.  It is available on a single, but I don't want to shell out the $7 for it.  Lame I guess?

The song is Madonna's What It Feels Like For A Girl remixed by Paul Oakenfold.

If you see me on the freeway over the next month rocking out to bad remixes, Ashlee Simpson or 90's rap is it because I am on a mission and reliving my teenage years.

New Favorite

Don't you love it when you find a song that you LOVE?!  It is all your can listen to?  Well I found mine Wednesday afternoon.  I was driving home and all of a sudden this song came on the radio.  My windows were down, sun roof open and music up.  Thank you Shazam for knowing the name and artist so I could listen to it all day on Thursday. {Side note: I Shazam-ed this in February on Pand0ra but never listened to any of their other stuff.  I won't be making that mistake again.}

Foster The People are coming into town on my birthday, but my parents are going to be here:( They are also playing in Santa Barbara in June.  I think this might call for a road trip!  I read one article on them and it said they are MGMT meets Young Kids with a hint of Empire of the Sun {& I love EOTS a lot!}

Enjoy and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!  Any fun plans?

Update:  Of course on the back of Women's Wear Daily they have bands to watch at Cocahella this year: Foster the People!  The song became viral when Anna Sui used it in her fashion show.  I bet these guys are on cloud 9.  I love stories like this:)
