Life isn't always hearts and flowers, this week I am crabby!  Post vacation depression is happening right now and knowing the next one isn't for another 7 weeks makes me sad:(

Viva Las Vegas

Three days in Vegas is a good time and if you add your childhood best friend it is a guaranteed good time.  Melissa, Mike, Marco and myself made the best of our mini-vacation.  From fun lunches to day drinking, to pool time to gambling to people watching it was a blast!

Overall it was a great trip!  We had a wonderful time .  We can't wait for the next trip late June.  We are thinking, San Diego, our favorite spot!

The Morning After

A Monday after Vegas has to be one of the worst days ever.  I can barely keep my eyes open which is going to make for a very long, unproductive work day.  Overall it was a great trip and some very memorable moments.  I can't wait to re-cap it with you tomorrow, until then this picture will have to do...

I'm LOVING tomorrow is my Friday!

I'm LOVING How to Make it in America, but HBO only gave it 2 seasons.  Such a bummer:(

I'm LOVING our oven is fixed.  Nothing having a working oven for a week can really put a damper on cooking dinner.

I'm LOVING our 5 mile stroll through Santa Monica this past weekend.  It was the most beautiful day.

May is here! Honestly I am dreading this month {with the exception of this weekend}.  Towards the end of the month my company is celebrating 30 years in the fashion industry.  This means a week of super long work days/nights, over the top parties and executives stressed to the max.  Also, Marco is visiting Atlanta and I am dying to go with him, but due to my work schedule it just isn't possible.  

1. Cook at home more and try different recipes 

Score! We are eating in 6 nights a week.  This helps the bank account and pushing the envelope when it comes to meals.

2. Focus on paying down our debts

3. Workout

My goal was to run 30 miles this month.  I did 19.  At least I did something right?

4. Make friends

5. Read a book a month
