30th Birthday

Today is my favorite person is the entire world's birthday! 

Marco you're 30 now!

Words can't even begin to explain how happy I am you were brought into this world.  

At lunch the other day with your mom I started tearing up about how much I love you and how thankful I am she raised such an amazing son.  

I hope all your dreams come true this year.

I am so proud of the man you have become and to call you my husband.

Since this birthday is such a big milestone I have decided we can celebrate all month long if you like;)

Happy Friday Friends!  

I had to share this for two reasons.  

1. I love this song

2. This is my favorite character from Sesame Street, but am not exactly sure why.  This might be where my fascination with elephants came from? When I was a kid I must have loved him because I named my favorite stuffed animal {a polar bear} Mr. Snuffleupgaus.

Marco's 30th Birthday Gift

A week or so ago I wrote about how I wanted to find the PERFECT gift for Marco's 30th Birthday.  After racking my brain for days I was stumped.  This is hard for me because I truly love finding the perfect gift for my friends and family.

Yesterday I received an email from the Gator Alumni Association based in Southern California.  No, I didn't go there, but I like to know what is going on in LA with UF.  The last part of the email said "Tebow is coming to town!" Birthday present done!  November 27 the Broncos will be in San Diego playing the Chargers.

Today I bought tickets 45 yard line, 6th row on the visitor side.  Seriously I think I might be more excited about this than Marco.  November is turning out to be quite the month.  Now I have to find the perfect outfit!

Christmas Cards

Growing up one of my favorite things was coming home and checking the mail.  I loved the Christmastime because that meant lots of holiday cards.  I can remember looking at and re-reading our friends and family's cards curled up in my favorite chair.  

Now that it is my turn to send out Christmas cards I want to make sure they are perfect.  Last year we used Shutterfly for our cards and they turned out perfectly!  We will be using them again this year for sure.

COLLAB

This morning I woke up still on a high from last night.  It took me FOREVER to fall asleep because my adrenaline was pumping like crazy.

Corey, Devin, Spencer, MG and myself ventured to the LA Arts District.  It is a really cool area which used to be breweries and have now been turned into lofts.  Not just anyone can live here.  You must make your entire income off of art.  Kevin is the creator of COLLAB and his loft looks like a space ship.  It was truly crazy.

Last night MG presented The Ocean Black to a group of about 60 artists in the LA  community.  There were four films shown and The Ocean Black was by far the most put together {not that I am bias or anything!}

He made a couple contacts which he is going to follow up with today.  We both know this isn't life changing, but it is the first step.  This was the first time TOB had been shown in front of an audience we had never met and people loved it.

I couldn't be more proud or excited for my husband.  I know how hard he works day in and day out on his projects.  I hope he starts to reap the rewards of his hard work soon.  That will make me one very happy wife!
