A couple weeks ago, M and I got a screener, The Place Beyond
the Pines. After seeing the trailer a
few months ago we couldn’t wait.
Especially since it is from the same director who did Blue Valentine,
which we loved. The scene where Ryan sings and plays the ukulele and sings for Michelle Williams melts my heart every time.
The movie stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva
Mendez. Bradley knocks it out of
the park! He was absolutely amazing
compared to the other two names. You
could tell he was a trained actor. I
am not knocking my BF Ryan at all, but I just wasn’t into it. I felt like I have seen him play this
character before. Don’t get me started on Eva, less than impressed.
It is a very different movie and
Bradley Cooper steels the show. He very
well could be nominated for another Oscar next year. The movie hits theaters on March 29. I would love to know your thoughts.
