What a Way to Start the Day

This morning I started my day here.
My boss need his car towed so, life of an assistant, I had to make sure it was done while he is traveling.
Maybe I now know why he is always in a great mood {most} days.
I would be too if I woke up to this!

Golden Years

I was going though Facebook the other day looking at pictures of when Marco was in college.  I spent at least one weekend a month up in Winston-Salem, NC.  I hated that town.  There was nothing to do.  The only thing it had going for it was Cookout.

In college we always said the goal was to work together an make a project.  To this day we share the same goal.  I am the token girl in the group, but I love it.  These men are now like my brothers.

Enjoy the walk through memory lane with me...

Marco's 2 favorite people, his wife and Doug, his writing partner/best friend

Sing, Jeff, Beans, Greg & Marco-4 Cinematographers and a Director

Spencer and Marco-The Odd Couple
I don't know how they would live without one another for their weekly industry bit*h sessions.

Graduation!!!

Marco's 2 roommates for 3 years, Sing & Beans.

I had to put this on here...M on set!

Marco's backyard for a music video thesis project.

Their first gig working together post college-a Willie Nelson music video.  Way to go guys!

This is on our fridge.  I should have Marco write a guest post about the experience.  It was pretty cool.

Hey Girl!

Last night at dinner Marco and I were talking about Ryan Gosling and Hey Girl. He told me about this clip below.  Maybe I was hiding under a rock or something.

This pretty much made my morning.  Enjoy:)

Love is in the air

Happy Valentine’s Day!

PINK PINK PINK

Honestly I think this is the most overrated, Hallmark holiday we celebrate in society today.  M and I are going to lay low this year, but I guess we always do.  We celebrate by making our annual dinner at home which includes lobster tails, green beans, twice baked potatoes, wine & a cupcake.  What are you doing to celebrate, if anything?

Happy Monday!  If there is such a thing; I wish we had one more day.  I do say this every Monday but whatever.
Monday, monday

First things first…Whitney Houston!  As a kid I loved her music, then she did the reality show with then husband Bobby Brown and I thought she was crazy, then I met her in real life and my original suspicions were confirmed.  I don’t understand how someone can be so reckless with their life.

This weekend we crossed 2 Oscar nominated films off our list, only 15 more to go-totally not going to see all of them.  The Artist was good, but not up to all the hype.  I loved the actress, she stole the show for me.  How the end came together was my favorite part and not just because it was the end.  We also saw Hugo and LOVED it!  So far it is my pick for Best Film.  I could actually watch it again right now.  The story was amazing.  Martin Scorsese did an out of this world job!  If you haven’t seen it, do it.
 Hugo

We dined out a lot this weekend which is going to show when I step on the scale for Weight Watchers this afternoon {weighted in and only gained .8 lbs}.  Ugh!

I tried to be good, but sometimes you just have to have waffles, eggs, bacon and hash browns for brunch {no I didn’t eat it all}.
