What I am Loving

Happy Hump Day Ya'll!
I hope you are making the most of your Wednesday.

Here is what I'm LOVING this week:)
I'm LOVING today is my baby sisters 22nd birthday!  It is also her BF's bday and on Monday he returned home from Afghanistan.  Best birthday present ever!
I'm LOVING the fact that MG and I are moving.  Not quite sure yet, but we are both in the mindset that we need to move.  Now we just need to find that perfect place.

I'm LOVING my Sit In Traffic playlist.  It is made up of the Garden State soundtrack {might be the best soundtrack ever}, a little Three6 Mafia {I gotta stay flffffllllllyyyyy}, Good Vibrations by MM & the Funky Bunch, Foster the People {my obsession.,of course}, a little Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z & Kanye {Oooo I love your so might be my favorite song right now}.  Totally random mix I know, but it works for me.
I'm LOVING Viz Art Ink.  MG and I saw his stuff at an art show in SD this summer and thought it was awesome.  When we move into our new place we want to get a piece of his work.
I'm LOVING the Gators this season!  We are off to a 3-0 start so far.  October is going to be a very hard month for us,  I am hoping we end up 8-4 or 9-3 this season.  Only time will tell...
I'm HATING that I haven't worked out in a month, since our vacation.  This really bums me out, but I haven't done anything to change it.  Hopefully I will find my motivation soon!

San Francisco

In 2 months MG turns the big 30!  To celebrate we are heading up to San Francisco for a long weekend.  We are staying in Nob Hill as a gift from his parents.  MG has been here a few times, but this will be my first trip to SF.  I can't wait to explore this amazing city!

Our To-Do List
-Go for a run across the Golden Gate Bridge
-Eat lots and lots of Clam Chowder
-Have breakfast at Mama's on Washington
-See the Painted Ladies {this is a must since I was OBSESSED with Full House growing up, haha}

What is on your must see list while you are visiting the city by the bay?

Weekend Recap

Oh Monday I am so not your biggest fan!

Last night I barely slept so I am dragging today, but anyways on to something else besides me complaining.

Friday night MG and I had a little dinner and a movie date night.  It was awesome.  Just what we needed to start off the weekend.  We saw Drive and it was one of the best movies I have seen this year.  I actually loved it.  It is a simple story told exceptionally well, the cast did a superb job-very little dialog and the soundtrack=amazeballs!
Not to toot my husband’s horn, but this is very similar to the feel that he wants to create with The Ocean Black.

Saturday we went apartment hunting.  It was pretty much the worst thing in the world.  We didn’t find a place and very few people answered their phones.  Total bust! We are thinking about heading back out this weekend with a better plan.  We are keeping our fingers crossed.  Later that afternoon we watched the Florida game….GO GATORS! And then headed to The Standard Hotel Downtown for C & Eddie’s bday.  It was a blast, so much so I slept until noon the following day.  Awesome!  After a ginormous brunch at Norm’s, a 1950’s diner, we headed off to Silver Lake to look at one more place.  As cool and hipster as the area is I don’t want to live there.  It just isn’t my vibe.  After retuning home we watched Limitless {it was awful, skip it} and the Emmy's {they were okay} it was time to hit the sack.

TGIF

WHAT A WEEK!
I am over the moon happy we are just a few short hours {hopefully} away from the weekend.
The past few days have been insane at work.
 I haven't been sleeping well.
I am a little stressed about finding a place to live even though I shouldn't be.
My sweet husband came home last night with a dozen pink roses and two bottles of wine.
He knows me so well:)

This weekend we are venturing out to see what is available in Los Feliz or Sliver Lake.  Looking for apartments in LA is SO ANNOYING!
Some come with parking some don't.
Most places are super dated.
One place I found online was great except for the mint green fully tiled bathroom.  Gross!
I know we aren't going to get everything we want.  I keep telling myself it is one year of your life that you have to rough it so we can have everything we want in the future.
Cross your fingers we find something perfect!

Saturday night we are celebrating C's 30th birthday {and another friend bday} at the Standard Hotel Downtown at their roof top bar.  I can't wait for everyone to be together.
I haven't seen C in weeks due to work and traveling:(
I can't wait to see her baby bump.
Girls Night Out at Sur 2 years ago!

The rest of our weekend will be consumed by football.
GO GATORS!
